App privacy
The HitZero app for iPhone and iPad · October 2026
The short version: HitZero does not know who you are, and what you do in it stays on your device. This page is about the app; the website and its launch list have their own page.
No account
HitZero has no accounts. It never asks for an email, a password or a birthday. The first time it opens it asks for a first name or nickname for your athlete, an age and a height, to set things up. They stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.
The camera
HitZero uses the camera to find the outline of your body, so it can count, time and cheer you on. That happens on your device. The picture is not sent anywhere, and it is not saved unless you save a replay.
Your replays
A replay you save is kept on your device only. Nobody else can see it unless you choose to share it.
Your numbers
Your bests, stats, level, badges and closet are kept on your device only. If you delete HitZero, they are deleted too.
How the device is leaning
HitZero reads how far the device is leaning back, so it can see you properly from the floor. That stays on the device.
Buying HitZero Plus and outfits
If a grown-up buys HitZero Plus or an outfit pack, Apple takes care of it with their Apple ID. HitZero never sees a card, a name or an email: Apple only tells it what this device has bought, and until when.
No ads, no tracking
There are no ads in HitZero and no tracking tools. The app from the App Store sends nothing about you anywhere. Nothing about you is collected, sold or shared.
Kids
HitZero is made for kids, and it is built so that it does not collect personal information from them. If this ever changes, this page changes first, and anything about a child under 13 would only be shared with a parent's permission.
